Acceptance

By using PrivaCanvas, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

PrivaCanvas provides browser-based tools that help you obscure faces and other selected regions in images. The current editor is free, does not require an account, and processes images on your device.

Your content

You retain all rights to images you process. You are responsible for having the right to use those images and for complying with privacy, intellectual-property, and other applicable laws.

PrivaCanvas does not claim ownership of your images or edited output.

Acceptable use

You may not use PrivaCanvas to break the law, violate another person's rights, distribute malicious material, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or falsely represent an edited image in a harmful or deceptive way.

Accuracy and review

Automatic face detection is an aid, not a guarantee. It may miss faces, detect the wrong area, or fail on some images and devices. You must review the full image and correct the result before relying on or sharing it.

Availability

The service is provided “as is” and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that the service will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular legal or compliance requirement.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by missed sensitive information, incorrect redaction, misuse of an edited image, device or browser failures, or use of the service contrary to these terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
